1882 Three Cent Nickel (3CN) OGH

Beautifully original PR64 housed in a PCGS OGH - the kind we all hunt for. The obverse shows bright silvery reflectivity with soft frost on the devices, while the reverse glows with pleasing pastel toning - cool blue, pale violet, and hints of golden olive circling the fields. Mirrors are lively without haze, the devices are crisp, and the overall eye appeal is high for the grade. A touch of light field friction accounts for the number, but this example has the look of a fresh, undisturbed proof.
