Pleasing AU58 in a fresh NGC holder, showing strong cartwheel luster that pushes this example right to the cusp of Mint State. Color is original and even, a soft antique silver with light golden highlights in the recesses, giving the coin a lively, honest look. The obverse cheek shows the expected light friction, but the fields are surprisingly clean for the grade, and the reverse retains bold frost with only a whisper of rub on the high points. Eye appeal is confidently above-average for an 84-S at this level - a wholesome, lustrous example we’re happy to back.
