1888 Gold Three Dollars ($3)

Rich apricot-orange gold covers both sides of this example, with lighter yellow-gold highlights on the devices and a soft satiny luster that glows across the fields. The strike is sharp - the headdress feathers, hair, and wreath leaves are boldly rendered - and the skin reads as fully original and undisturbed. A scatter of light ticks in the open fields caps the grade. Strong eye appeal in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a green CAC sticker.
