1891-S Morgan Dollar ($1) Error - Struck 10 Percent Off-Center

Wild mint error eye appeal here - a boldly struck 10 percent off-center S-mint with a dramatic unstruck crescent sweeping from roughly 7 to 10 o’clock on both sides. Lively satiny luster rolls beneath antique silver and pale gold skin with hints of champagne at the peripheries. The devices are crisp for the grade and the off-center feature frames the portrait and wreath beautifully. Some scattered contact in the fields keeps it in the low Mint State tier, but the look is all there. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder with the Mint Error attribution on the label.
