An honest, well-traveled example of the key-date of the Morgan series, with a fully legible date and a bold S mintmark. The surfaces show an even medium silver-gray with deeper slate settling into the recesses around the devices. Legends and stars remain strong on both sides, and Liberty's profile and the eagle's outline retain more definition than the AG03 grade suggests. Decades of smooth, uniform circulation left nothing distracting, giving this coin a wholesome look that low-grade 1893-S dollars rarely offer. Housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder.
