1894-O Liberty Gold Half Eagle ($5)

A Fairmont Collection New Orleans half eagle. Rich yellow-gold color with deeper honey tones near the rims gives the coin a warm, original look, and satiny luster flows across both sides. The strike is crisp, with sharp eagle feathers and well-defined curls. Scattered field ticks on the obverse cap the grade, while the reverse is notably cleaner. Strong eye appeal for a Mint State 1894-O.
