1895 Indian Cent (1c)

The 1895 Indian Head cent had a solid mintage of over 38 million pieces, making it one of the more common dates in the series. However, finding examples that have retained their full original red color is a different story entirely. Most survivors have long since toned to red-brown or brown, making gems like this one particularly desirable.

This CAC-graded & approved MS65RD gem blazes with original mint luster and displays stunning red-orange surfaces that immediately catch the eye. The strike is sharp throughout, and the surfaces are remarkably clean for the grade, showing only minor contact marks consistent with the MS65 designation.
