1901 Indian Cent (1c) Laidacker Collection

Owen says:

"The first time I saw this coin in hand I had two words: 'holy s***!!!' When we were figuring what to pay for the coin (it was raw at the time!) Noah and I decided we had no maximum and would pay whatever it took to own the coin. It is without a doubt the finest 1901 cent I have ever seen both as a professional grader and a dealer, and it's among the finest Indian cents in existence, period."

Blazing fire-orange copper with a soft rose blush, while blasty, semi-PL cartwheel luster sweeps both sides. The strike is razor-sharp. The obverse is simply pristine, and while some microscopic reverse ticks keep it out of 68 for now, we wouldn't be surprised to see it regraded a 68 some time in the future. Superb eye appeal, even for a 67+, housed in a PCGS gold shield holder with a green CAC sticker. The finest coin we have offered yet from the incredible Laidacker collection.
