1901 Liberty Gold Half Eagle ($5)

The 1901 half eagle had a solid mintage of 615,900 pieces, making it one of the more available dates in the Liberty Head series. While not scarce in most grades, finding examples in superb gem condition like this one is a different story entirely.

This PCGS MS67 gem blazes with rich, satiny luster that flows across both sides in unbroken waves. The surfaces display gorgeous golden-orange color with deeper honey tones gathering in the protected areas.
