1904 Liberty Gold Double Eagle ($20) OGH

A blasty OGH gem! Warm orange-gold color and the vintage green-label PCGS holder give this 1904 double eagle an immediately appealing look. Satiny luster rolls evenly across both sides, with a sharper-than-average strike through Liberty’s hair, the stars, and the reverse shield and wings. The reverse is especially clean and flashy, while a small scatter of ticks in the open obverse fields caps the grade. But it earns its gem status and then some. Rightfully CAC-approved.
