1905 Liberty Nickel (5c)

Bright, choice Mint State surfaces with extremely lively cartwheel luster and a pleasing nickel-silver sheen that leans to pale champagne at the rims. The strike is confidently bold with crisp stars and corn-wreath detail, while the reverse is notably clean for the issue. Satiny texture throughout gives this example a fresh, original look and strong eye appeal. A few scattered ticks on the high points of the cheek and neck set the ceiling, but PCGS called this one right.
