1906 Indian Cent (1c) OGH

The 1906 Indian Head cent had a hefty mintage of over 96 million pieces, making it one of the more common dates in the series. However, like most Indian Head cents from this era, finding examples that have retained their original blazing red color is a real challenge - the vast majority have long since toned to red-brown or brown over the decades.

This PCGS MS64RD example with a well-deserved CAC sticker is a standout specimen that has managed to preserve its original mint luster and color. The surfaces display vibrant orange-red hues with excellent eye appeal, and the strike is sharp throughout.
