1908 Indian Gold Half Eagle ($5)

A true plus-grade Gem with a green CAC that absolutely pops in hand - easily one of the finest 1908 $5 Indian we've ever seen. Vivid sun-gold color with warm orange highlights and full satiny luster that rolls evenly across both sides. Surfaces are exceptionally clean for the type, with only a few tiny ticks seen under magnification, plus the usual as-struck granularity. The strike is crisp throughout with razor feather detail and bold legends. Terrific eye appeal in a modern PCGS holder that's just a hair away from MS66.
