1909-O Indian Gold Half Eagle ($5) OGH

One of the coolest coins we have offered yet! With a mintage of just over 34K, 1909-O $5s are tough in any grade, but finding one in an OGH holder with a gold CAC sticker is practically impossible. Choice, original color with a warm lemon gold patina and light wear, this coin shows strong detail and tons of satiny luster throughout. Surfaces are notably clean for the issue, and the coin is so clearly AU that the XF45 grade looks silly. A simply mesmerizing coin that would look at home in a world-class gold collection.
