1909-S VDB Lincoln Cent (1c)

Lovely, original skin with medium chocolate-brown surfaces complimented by blue and gold toning. Traces of satiny luster still glow in the fields and around the devices, giving this example a near-unc look in hand. The strike is sharp for the issue, with crisp lettering and wheat lines, and the surfaces are refreshingly clean for the grade. Just the faintest high-point friction keeps it out of an MS holder. Seated in a PCGS holder with a well-deserved green CAC sticker, the eye appeal is confidently strong for an AU58.
