1910-D Indian Gold Eagle ($10)

Rich honey-gold color with warmer orange accents gives this 1910-D eagle immediate presence. Satiny luster moves well across both sides, and the design is nicely brought up with strong feather detail and a sharp, readable reverse. The fields are remarkably clean for the grade, with only some light surface nudges keeping it at the 64 level (but we wouldn't be surprised in the slightest to see this coin graded 65.) Attractive eye appeal in a PCGS Gold Shield holder.
