1911 Indian Gold Eagle ($10)

Glowing satiny luster rolls across rich yellow-gold surfaces with subtle orange highlights, giving this 1911 a decidedly premium look for the assigned plus grade. The strike is crisp - headdress feathers and the eagle’s breast are sharply rendered - and the fields present with pleasing originality. Eye appeal is strong, and the green CAC sticker confirms it. Some scattered contact in the open fields is all that separates this example from the next grade. Housed in a PCGS holder.
