1912-D Lincoln Cent (1c)

Rich original color defines this Gem 1912-D, with mint red mellowing into warm mahogany and violet-rose overtones throughout. The obverse displays a few as-made lighter streaks, the result of a not-so-perfectly mixed alloy. The strike is bold with sharp hair curls and crisply defined wheat ears, and satiny luster glows beneath the toning on both sides. Surfaces are clean and spot-free for a semi-key Denver cent at this level. Housed in an NGC holder with a green CAC sticker, this example delivers excellent eye appeal.
