1912 Liberty Nickel (5c)

Warm antique-gold and honey-bronze surfaces with a soft satiny glow give this 1912 nickel an appealing, original look. The cartwheel rolls evenly on both sides, with subtle peach highlights in the fields and strong definition across the devices. Eye appeal is quite nice for a solid MS63, housed in a modern PCGS holder. A few scattered ticks in the obverse fields set the ceiling, but the reverse is notably clean and the toning is wonderfully even. A pleasing, honest Unc that looks right in hand.
