1913-S Type 2 Buffalo Nickel (5c)

A sharply struck example of the key 1913-S Type 2, with bold detail through the bison's shoulder and horn and crisp definition in the braid and feathers - well above average for this issue. The surfaces glow with soft, satiny nickel-gray luster warmed by pale golden overtones, entirely original in appearance. Fields and devices are clean for the grade, with nothing to draw the eye away from the design. Gem quality confirmed by a green CAC sticker, housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder.
