Premium for the issue in a PCGS gold shield holder with a green CAC sticker, this coin shows a true AU58+ look - glossy, original medium chocolate-brown with warm mahogany highlights. Luster flows through the fields on both sides, giving the surfaces a lively, satiny glow. The strike is crisp for the date with sharp hair and wheat detail, and the fields are notably free of distractions. Just the faintest friction on the high points caps the grade. Outstanding eye appeal for an important key date Lincoln. The only other AU58+ 14-D 1c APR we could find was for $4,937 in 2021.
