1915 Indian Gold Eagle ($10)

PCGS MS63

This MS63 example showcases the beautiful golden luster that makes Indian Head eagles so appealing. The surfaces display rich, original color with vibrant cartwheel luster that rotates beautifully under light. Some minor contact marks are present as expected for the grade, but the eye appeal remains strong with well-preserved detail throughout both sides. The strike is sharp and the coin presents very well for a choice uncirculated example.

The 1915 Indian Head eagle represents one of the higher mintage years in the series with 351,075 pieces struck at Philadelphia. While not scarce by series standards, finding nice uncirculated examples with original surfaces and good eye appeal has become increasingly challenging as the years pass. The Indian Head eagle series ran from 1907 to 1933 and remains one of the most beloved designs in American numismatics, making solid MS63 examples like this an excellent choice for type collectors.
