1915 Indian Gold Half Eagle ($5)

Glowing satiny luster floods both sides, with rich orange-gold color and a subtle greenish-gold sheen that moves nicely in-hand. The strike is crisp for the date, showing sharp headdress texture and well-detailed eagle plumage. Surfaces are admirably original and fresh, with just a few trivial ticks in the left obverse field and a light scuff along the eagle’s wing keeping it out of a straight Gem holder. Housed in a modern PCGS shield label holder, this MS64+ example offers knockout eye appeal and clearly flirts with the next grade up.
