An honest, totally original 1916-D in a classic PCGS old green holder. The mintmark is bold, the date is full, and the rims display minimal blending - exactly what you want in a G06 example of the series key. Natural silver-gray surfaces with deeper slate in the recesses give this specimen a wholesome, undisturbed look, and the wear is smooth and even with no distractions. A bit of detail remains in the wing and fasces, unusual for the grade, delivering pleasing eye appeal.
