PCGS
VF35
CAC
The 1921-S Walking Liberty half dollar represents the resumption of half dollar production at the San Francisco Mint after a three-year hiatus. With a mintage of 548,000 pieces, it's one of the key dates of the series. As with all early Walkers, finding problem-free, original examples with solid eye appeal remains a challenge.
This PCGS VF35 example earned a well-deserved CAC sticker for its exceptional quality within the grade. The surfaces display beautiful, even gray toning throughout, with no signs of cleaning or other problems. All the major design elements remain crisp and well-defined, showing just the right amount of wear for the grade. The coin's originality shines through, making it an excellent representative of both the date and grade.
