1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter (25c)

The 1923-S Standing Liberty Quarter is a significant coin in the Standing Liberty Quarter series due to its low mintage and historical context. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, only 1,360,000 of these quarters were produced, making it one of the lower mintage issues in the series. Economic conditions and limited demand for quarters during this period contributed to the reduced production.
This CAC-approved example shows lovely original surfaces with smooth dark grey color, just a touch of wear, and traces of mint luster hiding in the protected areas. A very choice XF example.
