1926-D Standing Liberty Quarter (25c)
PCGS MS67
Frosty, blazing cartwheel luster rolls beneath a pleasing veil of champagne and amber rim toning, giving this MS67 terrific eye appeal. The strike is confident with just a whisper of typical softness at the head, while the fields and devices remain impressively clean for the grade, with only a few tiny, toning-hidden ticks and no meaningful distractions. Both sides show uniform satiny texture and original skin that reads fresh in hand. Housed in a current PCGS gold shield holder, this example absolutely looks the part of a top-end 67.
Tied for numerically finest coin at PCGS (sharing the podium with a 67FH which most recently sold for $90,000), this is the sole MS67 without the FH designation, with none finer. A capstone to any outstanding SLQ set.
