1926 Sesquicentennial Commem Gold Quarter Eagle ($2.50)

Rich honey-gold color and a green CAC sticker make this Gem Sesqui quarter eagle immediately appealing in its older NGC holder. Satiny luster washes evenly over both sides, with warmer orange-gold accents in the protected areas and along portions of the rims. The design detail is pleasingly sharp for the issue, including crisp lettering and strong architectural definition on the reverse. A few scattered ticks in the open fields cap the grade, but the overall surface quality and original skin deliver strong eye appeal.
