1927 Buffalo Nickel (5c)

Original, undisturbed nickel-gray skin with soft golden overtones gives this 1927 a wholesome, never-dipped look. The strike is sharp for the date, with strong braid detail on the obverse and a well-defined horn and shoulder on the reverse, all lit by a gentle satiny glow. A few light ticks in the fields cap the grade, but the eye appeal is clearly at the upper end of the 64 range. Housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder with a green CAC sticker.
