1927-D Peace Dollar ($1)

Gleaming gem surfaces with bold cartwheel luster and an excellent strike. The obverse is largely brilliant with satiny silver frost, while the reverse shows pleasing peripheral golden-russet toning along the left rim that frames the devices well. Fields are impressively clean for the grade, with only a light tick on the cheek limiting things. Strong eye appeal in a PCGS gold shield holder.
