1929-S Buffalo Nickel (5c)

Light champagne-gold patina drapes both sides of this Gem 1929-S, layered over satiny nickel-gray surfaces that glow with soft, original luster. While some softness is present, the strike is pleasing for a late-twenties San Francisco issue, with good separation in the braid and bold definition across the bison's shoulder and head. Fields and devices are notably clean, with nothing that catches the eye under scrutiny, and the color is even and completely undisturbed. Housed in an NGC holder and CAC-approved, this example delivers wholesome, original eye appeal.
