1929-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar (50c)
PCGS MS63
This example offers pleasing, original dove-gray skin with a faint champagne wash and steady satiny luster that rotates nicely in hand. Surfaces are honest for the grade with scattered light ticks and hairlines in the right obverse field and on the eagle’s wing, but nothing distracting, and the rims are sound. Strike shows the expected S‑mint softness at Liberty’s head and hand with moderate flatness in the skirt lines, while the reverse feathers are better defined than usual. Eye appeal is solid and even, with no spots or haze. Housed in a current PCGS holder and PCGS nailed the grade here.
