1934-D Peace Dollar ($1)
PCGS MS65
The 1934-D Peace Dollar stands as a notable issue within the Peace Dollar series, as it marks the beginning of the short-lived revival of silver dollar production following a hiatus from 1929 to 1933. The Denver Mint produced these coins in moderate quantities, making high-grade examples particularly desirable among collectors.
This coin is graded MS65 by PCGS and PQ approved. Now, PQ isn't as well-known as CAC (and we're not charging any premium for it), but it's worth noting that they do actually kind of know what they're talking about -- their head grader is John Dannreuther who is one of the finest numismatists on the planet (and the founder of PCGS).
Anyway - this coin is dope. It showcases brilliant luster and sharp strike detail. The surfaces are crisp with minimal contact marks. The frosty appearance and radiant fields make this a top-tier example, perfect for enhancing any Peace Dollar set.
