1936 Satin Buffalo Nickel (5c)

A superb satin proof from the first proof Buffalo issue since 1916, graded PR67 by PCGS. The strike is needle-sharp as expected of a proof - every braid, feather, and tuft of the bison's coat is fully rendered - and the smooth, satiny proof surfaces glow with a warm pewter-champagne patina. Fields on both sides are immaculate, entirely original, and free of anything distracting, delivering the kind of eye appeal that stands out even at the superb gem level.
