1936 Washington Quarter (25c)

A superbly preserved example of the first-year 1936 proof - the key to the Washington quarter proof series. Bright silver-white surfaces show a soft, glassy glow with faint pearl-gray patina, and the strike is needle-sharp with fully rendered hair curls and crisp breast feathers on the eagle. The fields are impressively smooth and original, exactly what a superb gem should deliver, with strong eye appeal on both sides. Housed in a PCGS Gold Shield holder.
