1936 York Commemorative Half Dollar (50c)

Blazing cartwheel luster rolls across satiny, silvery surfaces framed by delicate peripheral color - champagne, ice-blue, and honey-amber with a richer crescent at the right obverse. The strike is crisp and the fields are wonderfully clean for the issue, with only a whisper of speckled toning at the rims noted. Certified in a PCGS holder and blessed with a green CAC sticker, this example has knockout eye appeal that easily explains the lofty grade.
