1937-D 3 Legs Buffalo Nickel (5c)

A perfectly original 3-Legged Buffalo with the missing foreleg plainly evident and the diagnostic raised area beneath the bison's belly fully visible. The skin is completely undisturbed - warm pewter-tan with subtle olive accents settled into the recesses, exactly the honest look you want on this famous variety. Wear is light and even, leaving strong detail in the braid, the bison's hide, and the horn. Smooth, problem-free surfaces for the grade earned this example a green CAC sticker on its NGC holder.
