1942-D Mercury Dime (10c)

Housed in a vintage NGC "fatty" holder, this 1942-D dime beams with frosty, flashy surfaces accented by pale pastel patina. The strike is exceptional - fully split crossbands on the fasces earn the FB designation, and Liberty's hair and wing detail are crisp throughout. Fields are remarkably clean with only trivial ticks, and the thick, satiny luster gives the coin premium gem eye appeal. A green CAC sticker rounds out a wonderfully original piece.
