1942/1 Mercury Dime (10c)

Warm stone-gray skin with darker accents in the recesses gives this overdate a wholesome, original look, and the 2/1 is boldly evident even at arm’s length. Detail is right on the VF line - balanced wear with smooth, honest surfaces and no distractions beyond a few trivial circulation ticks. The reverse retains pleasing definition in the wreath and fasces for the grade. Strong eye appeal for a circulated example, in a PCGS holder with a well-deserved green CAC sticker. We like this one a lot.
