While gem 1945 dimes are plentiful, examples bearing full bands are rare, and are cherished by collectors. Populations at this level are single digit, with just four in MS67FB, and only two finer MS67+FB coins graded by PCGS. Blazing, satiny luster races across both sides of this superb gem, with a touch of mottled peripheral patina. The strike is razor sharp with textbook full split bands. Surfaces are remarkably clean, with practically no mentionable flaws. Housed in a PCGS gold shield holder, this will be a trophy coin in a world class Mercury dime set.
