1952 Washington-Carver Commemorative Half (50c)

Gem example in an NGC holder with a green CAC sticker, offering notably vibrant satiny luster and superb eye appeal. The obverse shows attractive album-style color - pale gold and olive with touches of russet and faint ice-blue at the rims - while the reverse is brilliant silver-white with a strong cartwheel. Strike detail is crisp throughout, and the surfaces are refreshingly clean for the issue; only some unstruck planchet at the high points on the obverse reins in a loftier grade. A well-deserved CAC approval and a pleasing two-sided look.
