1955 Doubled Die Lincoln Cent (1c)

Classic 55 DDO in an NGC holder with a green CAC sticker, showing rich mahogany-brown surfaces with subtle blueish purple undertones and a satiny cartwheel. Touches of original mint red persist at the peripheries and protected areas. The doubling presents crisply, framed by smooth, undisturbed fields and sharp devices. A couple light ticks in the left obverse field hold it at 64, but the color is wonderfully even and spot-free, and the reverse mirrors the same glossy, original look. Strong eye appeal for a certified BN example.
