1955 Doubled Die Lincoln Cent (1c)

Beautifully original AU with even medium chocolate-brown color and a soft, glossy sheen that hints at remaining luster in the fields. The obverse doubling jumps off the coin, with crisp spread in the date and motto that needs no loupe. Just the lightest friction on the bust and high wheat tips caps the grade, while the surfaces are notably clean for an AU with only trivial ticks under close light. Eye appeal is strong and natural.
