1896 $1 Educational Silver Certificate (Fr. 224)

A pleasing VF example with seriously strong eye appeal for the grade. The inks remain punchy - bold blue serials, a well defined red seal, and deep green on the reverse that really pops. Paper shows good body with natural surfaces and solid integrity, free of distracting stains or repairs. Margins are decently balanced with the design nicely framed. Several light vertical folds account for the grade, but you'll be hard-pressed to enumerate them. Housed in a clean PCGS Banknote holder with an attractive, fresh look overall.
