1896 $1 Educational Silver Certificate (Fr. 224)

A crisp, original Educational ace with strong eye appeal for the assigned XF tier. Inks are deeply impressed - the blue serials pop and the red seal is vivid - against bright, well preserved paper. Margins are even and comfortably wide, giving the design excellent framing on both sides. The reverse green is rich and uniform with sharp detail throughout. A light center fold limits the grade, but surfaces remain clean with pleasing texture in the paper. Nicely presented in a fresh PCGS Banknote holder.
