1896 $2 Educational Silver Certificate (Fr. 247)

A pleasing VF example with confident eye appeal for the type. Paper remains sound and reasonably bright with honest circulation - multiple folds are present yet none are heavy or distracting. The black intaglio prints sharply, the blue serials are bold, and the red seal retains strong color. Margins are well balanced for the grade. The reverse shows deep, even green ink with good detail. Minor edge toning at the upper margin is noted, otherwise this specimen sits problem free in a fresh PMG holder.
