1899 $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificate (Fr. 233)

A strong VF with well-deserved EPQ - fully original paper with crisp, tactile surfaces and no signs of conservation. The blue overprint pops, serials are vivid, and the black engraving retains excellent depth. Margins are balanced for the type and the reverse green remains bright with good press. Eye appeal is notably above the grade, with only a few vertical folds limiting it. Housed in a clean PMG holder noting EPQ.
