1899 $1 Black Eagle Silver Certificate (Fr. 236)

A wholesome XF example with strong eye appeal, bold black inks and a vivid blue seal and serials that pop against well balanced margins. The paper remains sound with pleasing body and only light circulation tone, while the reverse retains a deep, even green. Central vertical tri-folds are present and set the XF ceiling, otherwise the note reads clean and attractive.
