1899 $5 Chief Silver Certificate (Fr. 281)

High eye appeal for the grade - crisp paper with bold black intaglio, vivid blue overprint and bright serials. Margins are balanced and the portrait remains sharply defined. Typical vertical folds account for the level of circulation, but they're barely perceptible even under close inspection. The reverse retains deep, even green and pleasing brightness. Nicely presented in a clean PMG holder that shows the note off well.
