1907 $5 Woodchopper Legal Tender (Fr. 88)

Pleasing VF eye appeal with wholesome, original paper that still shows good body and strength. The inks are bold throughout - deep, inky blacks and a vivid scarlet overprint with bright serials that pop. Margins are balanced for the type with the design nicely framed, and the surfaces remain clean without distracting stains or repairs. The reverse retains a rich, even green that presents crisply. Vertical folds limit the grade, but this example otherwise offers confident color and very solid overall eye appeal in a fresh PCGS holder.
